Sometimes we can feel anxious, overwhelmed, low or stuck in patterns that are difficult to understand or change.
Relationships may feel complicated, past experiences can continue to affect us, or we may simply know that something doesn’t feel right.
With me, you don’t have to have all the answers. I’ll listen with care and without judgement, giving you room to find your own words.
About me & my approach
I’m a BACP registered psychodynamic counsellor working with adults online. I bring a thoughtful, non-judgemental approach, listening closely to what matters to you.
My approach is psychodynamic. Alongside thinking about what is happening in your life now, we may explore how earlier experiences, relationships and patterns may be influencing how you feel and relate to others today.
I work with you at your own pace, making room for feelings that can be difficult to put into words. There is time to reflect, with curiosity and without pressure to find immediate answers.

I welcome you to speak in the language that feels most comfortable for you.
I offer individual counselling for difficulties including:
I make room for you to talk about what feels overwhelming and explore the worries, pressures and patterns that may be contributing to your anxiety or stress.
I listen to what feels difficult in your relationships, helping you reflect on recurring patterns and how earlier experiences may shape the way you relate to others today.
I help you look more closely at how you see yourself, including the experiences and expectations that may have shaped your sense of worth.
I welcome whatever feelings accompany your loss, without expecting you to have the right words. There is time to speak about what matters to you.
I work with you to understand feelings of disconnection, whether you are alone or surrounded by others, and what closeness and belonging mean to you.
I take time to understand the experiences you choose to share, considering how the past may still influence your feelings and relationships in the present.
I support you in reflecting on changes and uncertainty, making space for what you are leaving behind and what a new stage of life brings.
You don’t need to know exactly what is wrong or what you want to change.
Sometimes wanting to understand yourself differently is enough.

A few things you may be wondering
You don’t need to have a clear explanation or a particular goal before getting in touch. We can start with whatever is on your mind and take time to understand it together.
My approach involves thinking together about your feelings, relationships and experiences. Alongside what is happening now, we may explore how earlier experiences and patterns influence the way you feel and relate to others today.
I offer individual counselling online. You will need a reliable internet connection and somewhere private where you feel comfortable talking. We can discuss the practical arrangements during our introductory consultation.
Each counselling session lasts 50 minutes and takes place weekly, on the same day and at the same agreed time each week. This regularity provides consistency and a reliable space for our work together.
We can discuss how long we might work together during our introductory conversation, depending on what has brought you to counselling and what you hope to explore.
I offer a confidential space for our work together. There are limits relating to ethical responsibilities, safeguarding and legal requirements. I will explain these, including how supervision supports my work, before counselling begins.
I offer counselling in English, Urdu and Potwari. You can let me know your preferred language when you get in touch.
